TNT Sat: how to get a card for €15?

Carte TNT SAT 15 euros

To access French channels for free via satellite, the TNT Sat card is a simple and sustainable solution. Priced at a fixed rate of 15 euros, this card allows you to receive TNT channels for 4 years, without any monthly commitment or internet connection. But how can you get this card at this price, and under what conditions can you benefit from it?

Unique price: why does the card cost 15 euros?

The TNT Sat card is distributed at a fixed price of 15 € including VAT, whether in specialized stores (Darty, Boulanger, Leclerc…), online or through authorized resellers. This price is set by the Canal+ group, which manages the satellite broadcasting of TNT channels on the Astra 19.2°E satellite.

The price does not vary depending on the region, year, or reseller. It is a flat fee, intended to cover the costs of access and signal distribution. Therefore, there are no discounts, subsidies, or promotions to obtain this card at a lower price.

⚠️ Warning: on some uncertified sites, cards are sold at a higher price or claim to offer longer validity. These offers should be avoided.

Where to buy the TNT Sat card for 15 €?

You can purchase the card alone at the regulated price through several distribution channels, including:

  • Darty, Boulanger, Fnac, Conforama stores, etc.
  • Online sales sites (Darty.com, Amazon, Cdiscount, Rue du Commerce…)
  • Specialized satellite equipment sites, like 2Galli or Satenco
  • Some large retail chains, in their TV section

On the internet, delivery fees may be added, increasing the total amount paid, but the face value of the card remains unchanged.

Conditions for using the card

Purchasing the card alone is not enough to make the service work. Several elements must be in place to enjoy it properly:

1. Have a TNT Sat certified decoder

Only cards inserted into a TNT Sat certified terminal can decode the signal of free channels. These decoders have a chip reader compatible with TNT Sat rights.

Fransat, Canal+, or free-to-air satellite decoders do not allow the use of this card, even if technically they can receive the Astra signal.

2. Use a dish oriented towards Astra 19.2° East

TNT Sat broadcasting is exclusively via the Astra satellite positioned at 19.2° East. If your installation is oriented towards Eutelsat 5W or Hotbird, the signal will not be detected.

In areas poorly covered by terrestrial TNT, especially rural, mountainous, or isolated residential areas, satellite dish reception is often the only reliable option.

3. Activate the card with an active satellite signal

The card is automatically activated once inserted into a decoder connected to a properly oriented satellite antenna. No code, form, or online registration is required.

What to do if you already have old equipment?

If you have a still functional old TNT Sat decoder, simply insert a new valid card to extend access to the channels for an additional 4 years.

The Canal+ group imposes an automatic expiration of the card after 48 months, even if the device is still operational. The only solution is to purchase a new card at the fixed price of 15 €.

How long does it take to receive the card if ordered online?

  • In-store: immediate delivery upon purchase
  • Online (reliable merchant site): generally received in 2 to 4 business days
  • Orders with express delivery: possible in 24 hours with some resellers

Make sure to check that the card is sealed and not pre-activated to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
